I’m fine, thank you. And please do take your time to read the info on this page before asking. This is not the real Pierre DePorte, I’m just a fan. And to answer your question, he’s 100% French & not mixed Korean whatsoever. He’s fluent in Korean because his stepmother is Korean & has been living in Korea since he was little.
I’m only two episodes in and I can almost say with full confidence that this is going to be the best kdrama I have ever seen. It’s STUNNING, unique, quirky, refreshing, HILARIOUS, everything. I particularly love the crazy characters ( shipwrecked foreigner in search of lost treasure: spiritual chamber pot; exiled nobleman with zero dignity left; young island girl fed up with her daily deap-sea diving/farming responsibilities), music, gender role reversals (the woman are complete BAMFs, wear the pants, can gut you with their oyster knives!) and fairytale-esque charm.
